Combiphos leaking after refill

    We have a Combiphos system for limescale prevention, for 8 years, which had worked great. You change the crystals annually. I have bought the crystals online in the last but bought from a local hardware shop today and they were very broken up, lots of bits, even dust. In the past I could count on one hand how many in a packet were chipped and there were no bits.

    I've cleaned up around the O ring 3 times carefully and put a new O ring in each time and then repacked the crystals in the dome, but it's dripping from the base of the unit each time.

    Had anyone seen this? Is it related to the crystals all being broken up?
