Hi, hope someone can help. I've just moved from the UK to Co Leitrim. My car is a 2011 Nissan Note 1.4. The problem I have, even after going through the car manual with no luck, is how do I change from miles to Klm on the digital part on the dashboard. Also I can't seem to be able to get my Sat nav to pick up in Ireland. Has anyone got any idea, and could help me out. Thanks. Paul.

You probably need to download Irish maps for your satnav.

If your car has nav/touch screen, there might be a menu for changing units from miles/km

I had built-in satnav in a 2016 Renault. It included maps of the 26 counties only (it didn't include Northern Ireland). If I wanted any other maps, I had to buy them.

Your car might be the same.

I'd say forget about trying to update sat nav maps on a 2011 car. Back then built-in car sat nav wasn't really at the pinacol of design or upscaling so updating may not be possible or at the least not easy. You are better using Waze or google maps from your mobile phone and place it on a dashboard/windscreen holder. Both are way better than any built in car sat nav even in 2023.
