Heya, we have a 1.8m slab extending from the garden door which we want ti put porcelain tiles over. The issue is that we want to have 3.5m final length and are unsure how to extend it. Some companies recommended just putting hardcore on the extension and paving over everything. Some would build another slab and connect with rebar while third would dig up the current slab and put a new one all together. I’m also considering DIY as the prices for the work are quite high against the cost of materials.

    Any info is welcome.
