Upgrading Daughter's iPhone

My daughter has an iPhone XR, 64gb.

Looking to upgrade as a present for Christmas. I'm thinking of pushing the boat out and getting her the iPhone 15, 256GB. Price coming in at €1109.

The camera and storage space are the most important features for her.

Any thoughts?

I mean, you won't be disappointed and she'll notice a massive upgrade from her current phone.

The Pro models are a bit more expensive and have noticeably better camera features. You say the camera is important to her, is that cause she genuinely likes taking good pictures or does she mostly just take selfies with her mates etc? If it's just selfies I wouldn't bother with the extra cost, if it's the former then it's worth considering.

She seems to be very into taking good quality photos. I thought that the camera on the iPhone 15 standard model looked like a major upgrade. I'm not sure that I'd push the boat out as far as the pro model to be honest. I suppose I didn't see much of a saving in picking the iPhone 14 over the iPhone 15.

I think the 14 Pro probably has a better camera than the standard 15, but Apple don't sell the 14 Pro any more so you'd need to source elsewhere.

Does it have to be an iPhone?

if not, go for the S22 Ultra, Amazing camera and the s22 and s23 is better than iPhone cameras. They are pretty similar to a point but when you use the zoom on the Samsung Ultra's you can see the difference.

I'm afraid so, she's an Apple fan girl and has the apple laptop and ipad and is just used to the apple environment and prefers it. I don't get much say.
