Toilet inlet valve

Hi Folks. Thanks for allowing this question. In a toilet, after flushing, there is a chattering/banging sound as the tank refills. I believe it is occurring in the inlet valve. (See photo attached) Is there a way to repair these (replace washers?), or does valve assembly need to be replaced? Thanks a million.

That's a side-entry Torbeck silent valve. You can replace the rubber valve and it usually works fine afterwards, but I sometimes ended up just replacing the whole unit for something more logical.

Not much point in trying to repair it when a replacement can be bought for very small money.
