Classic Car Insurance with Private Van

    I am having serious issue with getting anywhere to even quote me!


    I drive a private light commercial vehicle, a van, on a private policy for social domestic and pleasure. This is my main and only vehicle at the moment.


    I would love to get a project for the winter, but I am having serious doubts whether I can even get insured on a classic. Every insurer I have tried requires a car policy and not a van policy.


    Has anyone been in this situation? Am I just going to have to bite the bullet and get rid of the van and go back to a car policy likely losing my NCB? Has anyone any suggestions on who I might try?
