    Hi,

In old style pebble-dash semi-d's etc there are often concrete window opening that look like they were formed by cutting a strip of preformed concrete to length, and mortaring it up to the blocks to form a window opening. Looks like this: https://www.hughesprecast.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/Sills1.jpg

I am not talking about the window sill, but about the other three sides, jambs and header. Back door opes also formed same way.

What would you call that material/part if you were trying to source it in a builders providers please?

    Thanks,

    GL

its called the reveals and they are rendered in after the window has been installed by the plasterer

All you need is a plasterer to create that on site.

The window opening if new will need to be structurally created first with lintels and cill installed, window unit fitted, then plasterer.
