Quad Start Issues

Any quad experts on here? I have a old Honda quad I haven't used for some time. I cant get it to start. There are no lights coming on when I turn on the ignition nor when I press the start switch there is no response. Can someone advise what it might be?

I had this recently and had to take it to an ATV shop and get the starter replaced for ~100E

Has it got a pull start? Will it fire on that, also is the battery flat?

Pull start is broke, the battery was charged.

Only know my old Honda quad but there is a fuse box beside the battery. If you have a charged battery and no lights when you turn the key, the fuse in that box may be blown.

Is it in neutral?

Also usual things to check, good contact on battery terminals, no corrosion, clean contact on earth to chassis etc.

If it’s the starter would the dash lights not come on?

If lights not coming on with a charged battery then some issue there straight away. If not started in a while a service may be due.

Are you sure the battery is ok as no lights points to a battery problem.

Just cause you had the battery on a charger doesn't necessarily mean it's charged and in good condition.

Ours stopped starting overnight. Left it with local garage, got message to say it is fixed. Not sure the issue. I’d advise you to get it repaired soonest
