Immersion heater

    I have a dual immersion heating element.

    The sink setting is working fine along with the thermostat, it's when I turn it to the bath setting it trips the switch.

    When I reset the trip, while on the bath setting and immersion on, it won't stay on ie keeps tripping.

    Is it the element gone and is it a plumber or electrician I need to fix?

    Sounds like it's broken. I'd suggest a plumber, but some electricians do them also.

    Just explain as above to whoever you call.
