She doesn't look Irish but hell, cultural diversity (provided they're not import gangsters) is a good thing.

Just curious anyone know her or where she trains out of?

Weightlifting hasn't really been much of a thing in Ireland historically?

'Irish' was an ethnicity long before it was a passport

These kind of accusations are becoming a trend?

Is it considered "trendy" to bat them about at the moment?

It's great to see Irish weight lifting actually become a thing, cause as many of us remember, "back in the day", if you didn't want to kick or "punt" a ball of some kind between a pair of "uprights", there really wasn't a whole lot of alternate opportunity.

If she's living in Ireland and participating at a European level, obviously there's a club somewhere in state that supports the sport to that degree - and that's a benefit of quality multi-culturalism.

Same thing for Olympic/amateur wrestling. If it weren't for the eastern europeans moving here, we probably wouldn't even know what it is, but it's slowly/surely taking traction and providing that opportunity to the next generation.

As the commentators said, "a medal here would be massive accomplishment for Ireland".

So, she's potentially spearheading the proliferation of a great sport, in a country where diverse athlete opportunity was often lacking.

Which is why I was curious where she trains out of?

I know there was a club in Cork some time ago that turned out a few international competitors, but don't think they ever medalled in international competition.

Could Clarence Kennedy have been successful if he committed himself to International weightlifting?

Technically, out of competition, he would almost own the snatch world record at 193.5 or something?

Two kg's over the 96 kg BW limit but, yeah, probably?

Though we don't know how many other lifters hit that in the practice room.

    .......

I just came back to mention, winner of that female competition, breaking records etc., wonder what designer enhancer she's using?
