We are a young family looking to move to Co. Kildare. Found a nice detached house in Brownstown, Curragh, Co. Kildare.

Does anyone have an opinion about the area? The homes look built 10 years ago. Seen one recently and when viewing it was quite a quiet area.

Brownstown is fine - nice and quiet but near Newbridge and Kildare towns, the M9, M7 etc. There's a regular bus service (126) to Dublin from the Curragh Camp nearby. There are no shops in Brownstown itself but there's a convenience store in the Curragh Camp and the nearby village of Suncroft. Plenty of schools in the area too. There are lots of opportunities for outdoor activities in the area.

Also looking into moving here but interested to know about the area, the neighbourhood, the people and the community. Is it a nice place to live, safe etc. The place looks a little run down. Thanks for any replies.
