NCT tomorrow and wiper linkages just went

As title says think wiper linkages are gone on front wipers, can hear motor running but wipers not moving.

It's a 06 Micra K12.

Local scrap yard has linkages for newer version of Micra 2010-2021.

Anyone know if these will fit on my 06 K12?

Wipers are probably only a visual recheck. I wouldn’t be killing myself trying to fix them before your test.

Exactly.

Just get a set off Kilkock. They had about 50 Micras last time I was there.

These yokes are great. Fixed my volvo wipers when the ball joint wouldn't stay together.

Takes 5 mins to fit if you can find one in a motor factors. Wipers still going strong when I sold the car a year or 2 later

Cheers lads I was panicking I needed to get them fixed before NCT hopefully they're just a visual retest.

Yes I've repaired cars with similar homemade versions of those clips made from bent steel.

Arguably more secure than a new linkage.

Would this mean it's a full retest?

It doesn’t need to go on to the lane to check the wipers so it’ll be a free retest.
