Expected price drops when new iPhone released

    Hi All,

    My daughter wants to get an iPhone with some money she has saved up, it'll be used/refurbished, she has her heart set on an iPhone 13.

    I believe an announcement for the new iPhone is expected soon, but when the new iPhone is released what's the expected impact on used prices of an iPhone 13?

    Do the second hand prices usually drop or is there no impact. If they drop how much could the be expected to drop?

    iPhone 13 won't see a huge drop following today's announcement of the 15 as it is already discounted. It will likely be discontinued by Apple but it will still receive updates for many years. The 14 will likely drop by €100 - €200 or so with a respective reduction in 13 prices of €50-€100 maybe.
