Constant stream of water into toilet

We installed a new toilet about 10 years ago. For the past while we have had water constantly running into toilet from the cistern(behind tiles). It appears the washer on the siphon is perished. The writing on the washer says VA03 but we cannot find one anywhere. Would anyone be able to direct me.

Take a picture of your fill/flush valve and bring it to a proper plumbing shop.

Please follow site and charter rules. "Resistance is futile"

I brought the actual washer to 4 different suppliers today. They say I have to buy the full unit. The washers can’t be got. I find that hard to believe. Especially as the shop where said ware was bought said they never saw the like before. My plumber has fixed these in the past but not in Ireland

sometimes new rubbers washers can be found. Might be hard to get the right match though. This toilet flaw can also be due to a fill valve too.

Thanks. I am hoping someone on here might be able to direct me to a shop that has them. I am fairly certain it is the washer as a plumber has taken it out and discovered the washer is perished. He is a sound fellow and is also trying to find the washer rather than the expensive siphon itself
