Teaching Council Route 3

I've just been granted a TC number under route 3 and I interviewed for a Special Education Teacher Post yesterday and was successful. department is now saying no to route 3. is anyone else in the same boat or can this be gotten around

Did you have any sucess with this? I am about to try and do the same. They seem to have deleted route 3 from their website - how did you apply? Did you need a letter from someone?
