with above 21000 population, seems like a right spot for it. although the organic shop has closed down I see, so maybe not the right demographic. what's the story? was there ever a farmers market there? why is there not one now? would you go to one if there was one?

Places with twice that population don't have them either. There's not really sufficient local produce and hard to make money from it.

    There is no demand.

Just in case anyone is interested, Robs Ranch House in town are trying to set up a farmers market for the first (or last) Saturday of every month.

They are putting posts up about it on their Facebook, looking for people to display.
