    Anyone any good ideas as to what would be a nice salad?

    Something like this if you're into courgettes. It's one I got from a Raymond Blanc book. Courgette, rocket, garlic, feta - I also added some thinly sliced shallots. I did it today with dill instead of basil, but the original recipe calls for basil and lemon oil dressing.

    Or a thai chicken salad perhaps - though I know thai basil isn't the same as what we get here. Here.

    Not what you asked but I immediately thought of a lovely tapas dish I had in Mallorca recently. Grilled chicken with basil and lime mayonnaise. Absolutely delicious.

    I'll have to attempt it tomorrow night now.
