Hyundai Tuscon 2016 Diesel, EGR Valve Issue

    Hi All,

    I have 1 2016 Tuscon (1.7 Diesel) with 230K km. Currently have EGR valve issue that needs replacing. the valve cost circa 600 euro before fitting. I have been toying with the idea of getting the EGR and DPF bypassed via vehicle remap. Any thoughts on this? Has anyone experience of this and what was the result, are there any implications to consider.

    Appreciate your thoughts.

    My results have always been good, extra power and no more DPF/EGR issues

    How much typically would the remap cost, any implications around NCT, Car Insurance etc?
