Outdoor wooden stairs anti slip grip recommendations

I have some outdoor wooden stairs that I stuck anti slip grip I bought online. A lot of the grip came off after the first winter and it's all gone now and had been lethal.

The location is not suitable for a bannister/railing. I know putting down chicken wire is probably the best bet but any recommendations?

Hi, you need to search for "anti-slip nosings", look for the external type. The metal-backed drilled type would be best as you can just screw them in using a good quality screw. Example below.

I know that these are typically for commercial use, but you may find what you need anyway!

Try Abbey Woods in Baldoyle, they sell grip strip's for wooden decking

Thanks for the ideas. The steps are 70cm wide and I have 15 of them, so I need about 7m using a 45cm section on each, I need to be cost-effective. Astroturf does not sound the prettiest but might be the cheapest and most effective,
