How to get know new people?

    Hi lads,

    I'm 29 years old mexican guy. I've been living in Dublin for almost 2 years now and I spent most of this time with my wife but now she went to Mexico for 2 months and a half.

    Since we used to do everything together we did not make any new friends haha.

    So I was wondering if anyone have any ideas of how to get to know new people as a foreigner here?

    I'm not a heavy drinker but I don't mind a pint or two from time to time.

    I'm looking to move into the Data science field and studying hard into it.

    Do you have any sporting interests where you can join a local club? There are also walking groups, nature groups, etc
