Taken from the good folks at Ozbargain's - The steps are very simple.

What you need before we start. A VPN that connects to Turkey (I used my Turkish HMA VPN account). Personally I paid with my Turkish Debit card FUPS but Revolut should work too.

    (1) Using a web browser (not the app) - Open Duolingo website with your VPN OFF

    (2) Sign up for an account, you can use your existing account too providing there is no current sub.

    (3) After signing turn your VPN ON to Turkey. Then refresh the page and prices should be in Turkish Lira.

    (4) Choose which plan you want, enter your payment details. If it's a new account you'll get 14 day free.

I've just done this and invited my family members - Enjoy

I can't find it on the site, but is that an annual charge or once off payment?

edit - they don't make it easy to find pricing do they - what's the normal price for Ireland for the family sub?

Cheers OP, perfect timing, couple of my family were on about restarting Duolingo.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

I’m in turkey at the moment but when I try to sign up I get this as the price. Not the 17 per year others are talking about. What am I doing wrong?

Yep, I'm getting the same when trying every so often the past few weeks. Price seems to be TRY conversion of Irish EUR price.

I'm guessing they closed the loophole?

That's a shame, I know my family plan renewal from Turkey worked fine last week, either they've ignored already subbed people or I renewed just in time.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

All the Turkish rates across many providers have caught up with Euro prices. Playstation has matched Euro prices where they used to be about 50%

EA25 is tr3600 where EA24 was about tr1200 last year
