    My top element needs replacing

At 52 seconds in it shows the top element. Mine is like that but screws are at the back. Is the wire usually long enough to get the oven out of the fitting to fit new element.

    Quick answer, yes.

It is possible to lose the wire down the back, but you got to put a bit of bad luck and stupidity in to manage that.

OK thanks for that. I got the element online. The bulb doesn't light until it heats up, why might that be. It should come on with oven
