Thanks, also waiting for this as was looking to get some bottles of Cod Liver Oil which have increased massively in recent years, €11 now for a 450ml bottle. Looks like max of 4 items per customer so will have to get the Mrs to order also.

Would anyone know if this is in store also. Click and collect charges €2.50 unless basket total is €25 and then the item is only available for collect from Mon. It also doesn't list my closest Boots store as available for pick up.

Was gonna ask something similar, but add in "and his near 50 year old dad!".

Vit. C, D, magnesium, zinc, turmeric?

Eating enough and a wide variety of food would be most important thing. Vitamins and supplements are really just good for filling in some gaps you might be missing from diet.

But if you still want something then Vitamin D is often recommended for Irish people since we probably don't get enough sun. Get Cod Liver Oil capsules and they'll give you Vit A, D and Omega 3. Creatine would be another one to consider. One of the few supplements that actually gives athletic benefit (and possibly cognitive). Just make sure he doesn't go overboard with it or your toilet will suffer!

https://examine.com/ is a good source for checking the science behind vitamins and supplements if there's some you're looking at. It seems to be getting worse for hiding things behind a paywall but the summary info will probably tell you all you need.

I've found the natural multivitamins best. Switched to them a year or so ago. Come in tablet form but are made from food sources so the body absorbs better. They're expensive though and i've heard taking the standard vitamins with a well balanced meal might do the same trick.

How often does this offer happen on average ?

No, stopped in Boots this evening and they won't honor the online price or promotion. Best they'd do is the usual 3 for 2. So idiotic from the seemingly same company. Ended up leaving the store with nothing.

What's more is that online purchases are limited to 4 per customer so would need to purchase additional items to exceed the €25 click and reward threshold.
