Not sure if AH is the place for this but i'll ask anyway. I tried booking tickets on ticketmaster got through no problem. At the payment stage they text a number to confirm payment. Where it gets confusing is Ticketmaster need a 3 digit no to enter but the text from the bank is a 6 digit no. so it wont work. Now they're saying the card is blocked and the only phone number I can find for them is saying the phones are closed. Anyone any ideas how so sort this out?

If you're being asked for a 3 digit number by TM, the text from the bank isn't it. Are you being transferred to the merchant site for the card payment?

The only 3 digit code I can think of TM needing is the card's CVV code.

If the card is blocked, you need to contact the bank, not TM.

I thought that aswell but i'd already given the ccv number and the card was approved. It was the very last step TM said they'd send a text with a code and to enter the code. The confusion came about as TM was saying it's a 3 digit no but the text from the bank was a 6 digit no so it couldnt be entered.

Ticketmast said they were sending a 3 digit number, you received a 6 digit number from your bank, not ticketmaster......this part is confusing.

Which is the point of the thread. Ticketmaster want a 3 digitt number PTSB are sending a 6 digit number. It's all sorted now anyway AIB just ask to cofirm the transaction online without numbers.

Are you sure ticketnaster didn't email you a 3 digit number?
