NCT question

I have a 2008 car with an NCT that was due on 1st December 2022. I got a new car in January and this one has been sitting up since. I put it through the NCT last week with a view to selling it. It failed on a couple of small items. Question is, when I retest it in a couple of weeks, will I get an NCT cert until 1st December 2023 or 1st December 2024? I'm hoping that as it will pass the restest within 3 months of its NCT anniversary, I'll get the 15 months cert? Is that correct?
