Leap Year 2024

    Hi,

We got our school calendar-Post Primary- for the coming year and the Principal has us down to work 167 days instead of 166. It looks like they forgot about it being a leap year. Are we entitled to an extra day off for this or are you expected to just work the extra day? What happens in your school? There is no mention of leap year scenario in Circular 72/2022.

    Thanks for your help.

It's 166 days, the leap year has nothing to do with it. The principal needs to count the days on the calendar and stop when they get to 166.
