Does anyone know a place aroud town where you could rent a workshop for a few hours / days at a time. Somewhere suitable for cutting wood / building furniture.

I knew a fella years ago that made jewellery in a rented workshop on Munster Ave (where the train station gym is nowadays), it might have had a workbench and thats all he needed.

Apologies if this has ever been discussed elsewhere. Thanks.

Enquire in PorterShed2 about old Connacht Tribune Printworks at rear of their building on Market Street (it was used recently for an Arts Festival exhibition) ... maybe ...

If you're male, ask in the Mens Shed around the place. Details here https://menssheds.ie/shed_county/connacht/co-galway/
