Helicopter Spotting

any know of place to spot some helicopters? either parked or taking off or landing? ideally in the dublin area. eldest is obsessed with them at the moment and wondering if anywhere suitable and reliable to go to see them?

Either Weston or Newcastle would have the most heli movements that you can actually see reasonably close by.

Weston is probably your best bet for example EI-FXL an R44 has been doing circuits for a lot of this afternoon

Weston has a relatively new cafe, Hook and Ladder, with views over the airfield

I've not been yet (keep meaning to as I've heard it's good) so I can't vouch for it, but might be a good option for you
