Hi all, I've been waiting for a gap in my work travel to be able to apply for my Irish passport. I've got three weeks free from today? Does anyone know what the current turn around time is if I use the online application? Thanks

Check the official site for Irish passport applications.
It states that the current estimate for first time online applications is 20 working days.
That assumes that all documentation and photos are acceptable - delays can occur if something's not right.

thanks Gipi, I saw that, but was hoping, like my birth registration that it might be quicker. Just seen however, that I don't need to send my British Passport in, so I can still travel.
