Volvo XC60 or Audi sq5

Similar price range, similar power, similar spec. Volvo probably has more toys including air suspension.

Wasn't expecting to be as torn on this one. Would appreciate any informed opinions on this one.

No kids involved and no rugged off road requirements...

Personal comment, Volvo like driving a box and so boring. Audi is over priced for what it is, but a lot more fun.

Neither unless you like driving boats.

edit: I have a regular q5. It tows, goes off road fairly regularly, and carries kids and dogs around. But I’d take the ev out every day of the week first unless I have a specific need for it.

if you’re buying new, I wouldn’t have either as they’re both around a long time and will be replaced soon enough.

More power? Volvo starts at 350hp these days and goes to 455 for the t8. I’ve the T6 which is a lovely car. Can’t really fault it. Good diving dynamics with r design. Excellent fuel economy, which was the down fall of the old T8s (also they’ve a decent electric range now as well) Don’t like Audi’s personally so couldn’t compare the two.

That looks about half on the Volvo, I’m guessing that’s just the ICE with that figure?

Edit: Yip. Most of those online performance tables are absolute rubbish. Either outdated, or just simply wrong. 709NM is the figure, which converts to just 520ish in old money
