Buying mobile phone

    Looking to buy a new iphone. Small outlets z(often Chinese run) offer good prices on new iphones. Are there pitfalls compared with buying from a latge supplier eg warrantry etc?

    Warranty - you won't have one. Phone won't be handled by Apple here as it won't be local market and the retailer you bought if off won't exist when you want to go back

    If its a very new model and an apparently second hand phone, its probably stolen or an on-contract handset where the contract stops being paid and it will be network blocked shortly after you get it.

    If a deal looks too good to be true, it is.
