Upgrading BER

Hi - Bought a house that is currently rated a G and looking to upgrade to a B3 min to satisfy the requirements for a green mortgage. I have the BER advisory report which states that the house can achieve a rating of A2 and lists the upgrades to achieve that rating which is great but having got pricing back on a few of the upgrades, they’re out of the budget (EWI and HP in particular). All the others seem achievable. I’ve tried to reach out to the assessor who completed the report to no avail. How do I find out what BER I can achieve with the upgrades I propose to do? I’m thinking about switching out the EWI with internal dry lining and the HP with a combi boiler.

    where are you based?

when you say reach out, what do you mean, is the assessor not answering your calls?

Have you asked him specifically to substitute IWI for EWI and fossil fuel for HP and offered to pay a reasonable fee for that work, or do you expect it to be done for free?

“I can’t pay my staff or mortgage with instagram likes”.
