Trying to get RTE and VM on an older tv via internet

    A neighbour of mine has a very complex hdanywhere (HDbaset) system installed in her home, generally works ok but for some reason on a tv upstairs she gets picture but no sound on some channels from her sky box. I have tried replacing cables etc but short of a new receiver at that tv i dont know what else it could be.

    She uses the tv rarely and only to watch local stations, its a neat wall mount so an aerial wont work, i was wondering about getting a cheap fire stick and sticking the rte and vm apps on, but i see that rte android tv app doesnt have live....

    is there any way around this or any other idea?

    The rte player does do live TV.

    On mobile yes, on android TV or tabler no
