If I don't captain Salah this week, not much point in having him!

If I had Salah, I would.

I kinda want to go against Haaland this week. He has only scored in only 1 of his last 7 competitive games for Man City iirc, and played midweek. But I don't really have an alternative that I would be super happy to pick.

Watching Wolves run through the middle against Man Utd with free will on Monday night makes Maddison somewhat of an option, I think, but at this moment in time I'm finding it very hard to actually go so bold early in the season and might just have to play it safe.

    salah if I had him

ebh even though I'm not expecting much, following the masses

do think maddison could be a good punt though

Haaland without KDB could be opposed, Watkins v a poor Everton is my choice

I have Salah and Gakpo but don't have the ballz to captain either of them tbh.

Went with Salah twice around this stage last year and it absolutely fupped my season.

I think having him is probably enough of a differential this GW

I'm the same. I've been toying with the idea of captaining Salah all week but just don't have the balls.

Salah for me, bit of a differential (relative) at 25% ownership, good fixture.

Tough fixture for City, coming off a game midweek and feel they may be a little flat after the KDB injury

While I'm a Haaland for the season thinker, I also have Alvarez and could potentially see him start over Haaland after the midweek game. Might go for him but realistically will stick with Haaland.

Can anyone make a big case for Martinelli / Saka?

Going with Salah currently, can see Newcastle keeping it tight this weekend and being happy with a draw

I think Haaland relieves heavily on KDB so that affects my choice. Really not sure as I've no Liverpool assets so either play it safe with Haaland or go for Watkins or something wild like Chilwell at West Ham.

In last match against Bournemoth Salah missed penalty.

In the previous match against them Liverpool won 9-0 with no involvement from Salah.

I think I will pass and keep Haaland as a captain.

Salah himself is a bot of differential with 30% ownership.

Haaland is 90%+ so boring, but necessary choice

He didn’t miss a pen, he just didn’t return.

Sorry just saw you meant away at Bournemouth!

Any love for Diaz. Or too risky

If I had him I'd be captaining. Seriously fearing not having any Pool assets, so for me it's Haaland.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,685 ✭✭✭✭wonski

He didnt score a penalty if that makes such a big difference to you ;)

I wouldn't say he was good against them in last matches and he wasn't shining in last league match either so I will pass.

If he actually made a shot on target from the spot in that match or not won't change my mind.

Brought him in last min and captained him

    pool should win well

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,412 ✭✭✭✭Fitz*

I ended up going Maddison in the end.

If it's any consolation, he was on my radar too, but couldn't deal with the potential Pep-roulette.

Still plenty of time for EBH...
