Putting a window in a panel van; insurance questions

    Hi,

    Hoping someone can answer these;

    A. If I put a bonded window in the side of a panel van, does that void/affect the insurance? My instinct is that it would, as it would most probably be classed as an 'alteration' to the vehicle.

    B. And, if I did put a bonded window in, would I be able to get insurance at all?

    C. If I replaced the windowless rear doors in a panel van with doors with windows (say from a scrap yard), does this affect the insurance? My instinct here is that it wouldn't, as I'd be replacing one part with parts that 'belong' to that type of vehicle.

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks.
