    Hey Guys,

Thanks for taking the time to read over this.

My current house has Styrofoam insulation with the cavities pumped with beads.

I'm currently building a flat roof an extention to the back.

    100mm kingspan in the floors

80mm cavity insulation in the walls.

Roof is a cold roof construction with fibreglass finish.

My question is if I use 8inch rock wool insulation between the joists do I need and insulated slab also.

Then what size insulated board should I put on the walls.

People tell me 62mm on the ceilings with the 8 inch rockwool and 37mm on the walls.

Or 37mm on both ceilings and walls.

Or 37 on ceiling with the 8inch rock wool and 62 on walls.

Please could I ask for some guidance on this.

    Much appreciated.
