Heating controls - EPH Ember pack

    I want to be able to control my heating remotely and my plumber is installing the EPH ember pack.

    He claims that he must set it up on his phone/Ember App first to test it and then transfer it to me. This seems very strange to me. I asked if I could just set it up on my app when he's testing it and be there with him but he says it's not possible and it must be the installer that sets up the account - is this true? He claims he'll then transfer the ownership and show me his phone to prove he doesn't have access.
