    Hi all,

Looking for input / feedback from anyone who's done a Data analytics course (HDip, PG Diploma or PG cert) with either TUD or NCI. The options I'm currently considering (and have been accepted for) are the ones below, and only have a couple more days to accept one:

PG Diploma in Data Analytics with NCI https://www.ncirl.ie/Courses/NCI-Course-Details/course/PGDDA

HDip in Data Analytics with NCI https://www.ncirl.ie/Courses/NCI-Course-Details/course/HDSDA

Fundamentals of Data Science with TUD https://www.tudublin.ie/study/postgraduate/courses/data-science-fundamentals/

Just for a bit of background: I'm a qualified accountant with a keen interest in ITC, but still uncertain as to where I'm headed. I'm looking for a course that is not overly specific and that would let me 'sample' a couple of areas so I'd get a better idea of what's involved and what I want to do further down the line. I have already completed a 'Big Data for Business' course with DBS which touched on the basics of SQL Server, PowerBI, Tableau (along other stuff like Statistics, Digital Marketing, etc) and I found I quite enjoyed the programming / databases and PowerBI side of it. Which is why I'm looking to explore the IT area a bit further. The courses above seem to do just that, but they are different levels (with the HDip and the PG Cert being more basic and the PG Diploma being more advanced). I don't know what to choose, as I'm not completely inexperienced (which both the HDip and PG cert seem to target), having studied / working in a numerical field and also having basic understanding and knowledge of databases, but also maybe not as advanced as the PG Diploma in NCI seems to require.

I'm not interested in the QQI level as I'm already level 9 (ACA qualified), just looking for something that will help me learn something new or broaden my current knowledge.

If anyone has any experience with either of the two institutions or either course, please let me know. Would love to hear your oppinion.

    Thanks!
