    Hi I recently got promoted from TCO to EO. I am being moved department. I have a family trip booked to Australia. I didn't realise I would have to quit and take up the new position as it's TCO to permanent and so I have to use up my holidays. Leaving me short 10.5 days until next year. I have given my notice now as have a start date. I already said it to HR but they didn't directly reply and so my question is.

    Will unpaid leave be an issue in my new job?
