    Hi All,

2nd year of planting spuds and got no blight last year. I planted this year in 2nd week of May and last night i noticed that half the crop are falling over with black spots

I'm assuming its blight. IF i cut the stalks now do you think i could save the spuds?

Leave in the ground for a couple of weeks?

    Thanks

I think you should cut them down and dig them up straight away. Delaying for a couple of weeks will just allow more time for the blight to get into the tubers.

    Happy gardening!

Yeah, I just noticed mine like that yesterday and dug them up. just in time. Only one with evidence of blight attack. I pierced a few with the fork, alright...
