Crack on bumper on used car that I am considering

I rang up to view this car and the dealer told me they are waiting for a new bumper to be installed due to the crack that can be seen in this picture, is a crack in a bumper like that a red flag? Or not a big deal?

Is it the crack under the light?

To me that looks like it hit something while parking.....those boulders that people put on grass verges to prevent parking....unless painted white can be difficult to see in the dark until it's too late, spring to mind.

It certainly doesn't look like a "speed" impact.

I'd be opening the bonnet and making sure everything looks ok, especially the radiator and looking underneath to make sure there's no damage on the chassis.

I have a 142 Skoda, needed grille replacing after it got broken, it (and the bumper afaik ) are all one huge piece of plastic and costs about €600 before fitting and painting from Skoda. they can be got on ebay etc cheaper so make sure it's not some lash up job they do

It also looks like the fog light has water in it so possible cracking to the light itself or rear casing, you can also see discolouring in it, probably as a result. That might need to be also replaced depending on how long the water has been in it.

Well you have a much better eye for this than I do so, didn't pick up on that at all. I am viewing this car this week, would be very grateful if your sharp eye spots any red flags at all ! no worries if you don't get a chance

Yes looks good, only niggling thing I can notice is the Skoda centre caps appear to be missing from all 4 alloys.

Thanks, yeah I can live with that if it is only an aesthetic thing. All my research seemed to say that timing belt and water pump replacement for Octavia seems to be most important thing to keep an eye on, so new ones of them is attractive for me, for peace of mind
