    Hi all,

In a 10 days on August 17th my contract with Bord Gais will expire.

I want some time to think if I would extend contact or I will find different company.

What would happen if I do not make a new contract with Bord Gais until August 17th? Will they cut off my electricity?

No, you won't be cut off. You'll remain with Bord Gais paying their standard rates until you accept a new contract or change supplier.

The standard rates could be a lot higher than you're paying now.
