    Hi folks,

Had some pipework done last week and was all fine but noticed no hot water yesterday and checked the boiler..low pressure warning so topped up the system to 1 bar. Noticed it's 0 pressure again this morning.. have let the plumber know..would that indicate a leak?

    Cheers,

    Mick

It could be a leak, but also a faulty or wrongly pressurised expansion vessel. It could also be a faulty pressure release valve.

In any of the above, water will be apparent at the end of the pipe on the pressure release valve.

im hoping its not a leak under the floors, as the whole job was replacing gun barrel upstairs and fitting new floors/skirting.. if they have to come up again will be a right pain.. there's no obvious water patches or anything on the downstairs ceiling... anyway ive informed the plumber so hopefully he will come check it out

plumber came back yesterday evening and turned out to be a leak downstairs in an easy to access place.. relieved as was afraid might have to lift newly laid floors again
