Speeding Question

I hope someone can give me some insight into the following question, if the gatso van is stationed in a 60km zone trying to catch motorists there, can it do you for speeding prior to entering that zone?

In theory it will only be scanning for speeding in the zone that it is parked. If you are tagged outside the zone, you still have the option to contest the ticket.

Thanks, I thought that but wasn't sure. I had never been caught speeding but had overtook another vehicle which had decided to speed up while I was passing so i had to speed up further. I had managed to slow down before I got into the zone where the van was parked.
