    JUST HAD A BILL FROM AIRTRICITY WHICH WAS 300% HIGHER THAN NORMAL. THEY HAD EMPLOYED A SET RATE FOR OUT OF CONTRACT. THEY CLAIMED THEY HAD POSTED A LETTER ( DID NOT RECEIVE). AS A GESTURE OF GOODWILL ON MY PART I RENEWED MY CONTRACT AT A MUCH LOWER RATE TO SHOW MY WILLINGNESS TO TRY AND RESOLVE. THEIR RESPONSE WAS TOUGH JUST PAY UP. MY POINT IS THIS MY NEW CONTRACT IS WAY LOWER THAN THIS DEFAULT RATE THEY APPLIED SO THEY ARE STILL MAKING A GOOD PROFIT ON THIS RATE. THE OTHER RATE JUST SEEMS LIKE PRICE GAUGING. THEY SHOWED NO INTEREST IN TRYING TO MEET ME HALFWAY AND ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAD REMAINED A CUSTOMER AND WAS TRYING TO GET SOME UNDERSTANDING FROM THEM. IT SO DEPRESSING THAT THESE LARGE COMPANIES JUST HIDE BEHIND COMPUTERS AND FELL CONFIDENT TO SCREW CONSUMERS WITH NO REAL CONCERN OF ANY CONSEQUENCES.

    JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE ELSE HAD SIMILAR EXPERIENCES.
