Citroen Dispatch AdBlue warning won't turn off

    Hi all,

My Citroen Dispatch AdBlue warning won't turn off. It showed up saying in 2400 km engine won't start, I filled up the AdBlue tank in full, but after few days using the van and having done a good number of Km same warning is still there saying in 2400 km engine won't start.

Any idea how to reset it to zero?

    Thanks

You'll need to run a few diagnostics checks, but my money's on the adblue injector being gummed up and needing either cleaning or replacing - they're not stupidly expensive ...

    Thanks for that.

Anyone knows any good mechanic for Citroen van in Tralee area?

I used a simple ODB device and a simple Torque ODB Check App in my mobile and got the following.

Is the red result below indicative of the AdBlue issue? Did I add too much liquid? 32.767 above the 30 max??

You need to get it on a more capable scanner

On some cars (vw etc) if you overfill adblu you can get no refill detected. The cars displays shows a min and max amount and if you go above max the sensors get confused. It's technical but they use an ultrasound sensor in bottom of adblu tank and it can't tell any level if tank is overfilled. It requires a dealer or back street reset to tell it the adblu tank is now overflowing and then it's ok again.

Some cars shine a light onto the ad blue surface and the reflection point tells the system the level, too full and you sink the light.
