I got the link for the assessment via email on Wednesday of this week (26th July) with a deadline of 3rd August.

Curious to know when results are out. The candidate booklet mentions interviews are in September, approximately.

Two sections, one a comprehension type based on judgements of a situation, and the following section just simple addition, subtraction, division (simple maths equations).

Assessments were listed in handbook as being mid to late July 2023, so you might hear something via email next week?

Nothing yet. The deadline for completing the questionnaire was last Thursday at 3pm.

Im so glad to read that I wasn't the only one who didn't make the cut! Very disheartening indeed. I genuinely gave it my best shot. Wonder how everyone else got on?

Is this thread just for the positions as advertised at HQ clerical or for general prison clerical officers too?

I applied last year and was offered however due to circumstances I couldn't take it but applied this year and haven't heard anything past my application...getting worried

This years comp is only closed for the wider Prisons Clerical Officer in the last 4 weeks, I would imagine that they will be another month or so before they make contact.

Hopefully! The circular says they expected to issue out the assessment link mid to late July 2023, and I haven't heard anything so I'm thinking my application wasn't good enough...which is disappointing considering my experience last year. But then again the application deadline was July 13th...I emailed them and haven't heard anything back.

i didnt get any results in july but i was asked to do the assessment in august does anyone know what that means and also anyone know after you do assessment how long after that do you hear anything ?
