    Hello there,

Dublin-based band seeks a guitarist and bassist. If either bassist and/or guitarist could also do some backing vocals that would be a bonus.

About us: We brought out an album at the end of last year, you can listen to it (and all our other stuff) here:

Somewhat incredibly, our album was recently described by the lead singer of A Lazarus Soul in an interview with RTE as "a future underground Irish classic...should be huge" (here's the link if you don't believe me! - https://www.rte.ie/culture/2023/0601/1384167-something-for-the-weekend-a-lazarus-souls-cultural-picks/). We've also been lucky enough to have loads of support from Cian Ó Cíobháin who, as you'll know if you listen to his show An Taobh Tuathail on RTE RnaG, really knows his stuff. A previous incarnation of the band was gigging fairly regularly and played at stuff like the Vantastival festival. But we currently find ourselves unable to capitalise on the positive attention as we've lost our bass player and guitarist,so we're now looking to try and pick things up again.

We practice once a week (time and other life commitments permitting) in Troubadour rehearsal studios off the North Circular Road.

It would help if you were into stuff like (but not limited to) Sparklehorse, Smog/Bill Callahan, Bonnie Prince Billy, Spiritualized, My Bloody Valentine, Mogwai, Nick Cave, Yo La Tengo, The Fall, Pavement, Low, etc etc as well as yer classics like Neil Young, Dylan, Tom Waits and so on. Also love classic soul, Motown, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Nina Simone, etc.

An excess of effects pedals is strongly encouraged.

We're not exactly spring chickens so if you're like 18 or whatever you probably don't want to be hanging round with a bunch of aul' lads. Basically over 30s is the profile.

If you're interested give me a shout!

    Cheers

    Neill
