Signing on at DSP office once a month again (Covid policy coming to an end)

During Covid, people on JSA did not have to sign on at the DSP office each month. However as the pandemic has now subsided, people are now once again required to sign on at the DSP office. However they are now apparently offering an alternative which i had not heard of before, and that is signing on online instead of at the DSP office. In fact the DSP recommend for people to take the online option to cut down the number calling in to the DSP office.

Has anyone heard of signing on online and what does it entail? For example, must you log on on at a particular time of the day on "signing on day" or can you log in at any time that day and "sign on"?

Yes it's been in operation for a while but I believe you have to be invited to do so. It's still being trialed, I believe.

Essentially a notification is sent & you must log into mywelfare to click on the link. They can check where you've log in from & if they can't (IP address blocked) , you'll be called in.

Is maith an scáthán súil charad.
