Trunk Bag Advice

I've been thinking of switching from my usual pair of pannier bags to a trunk bag for my daily commute. I thought it might be easier to just have a single bag and it being on top of my pannier rack would avoid banging bags off things, as well as possibly being more aerodynamic (for all it's worth on my commute!).

Has anyone any experience with these? I rarely see them on other bikes. I'm worried that they may not be big enough for what I need it for - laptop, lunch, change of clothes as well as rain gear. Maybe it's not worth pursuing, but if anyone has any experience it would be useful. Thanks.
